About the role
We're hiring a Communications, Social Media & Executive Assistant Intern — a right hand to our leadership and a voice for DeepLeaf. You'll manage our social presence, help tell our story clearly, and keep the day-to-day of a fast-moving company organized. It's a broad, high-trust role for someone exceptionally organized, a superb communicator in English, and quick to learn.
What you'll do
- Social media & communications. Plan, write, and schedule content across our channels; keep a consistent, sharp brand voice; draft posts, newsletters, decks, and announcements.
- Executive assistance. Support leadership with scheduling, inbox and follow-up management, meeting prep and notes, travel and logistics, and keeping priorities on track.
- Coordination. Keep people, partners, and tasks moving — tidy records, clear follow-ups, and nothing dropped.
- Represent DeepLeaf. Help prepare for and support meetings, events, and trips — sometimes on the road.
Who we're looking for
- Exceptional English — you write and speak clearly, warmly, and persuasively. This is essential.
- A fast learner — you pick up new tools, topics, and context quickly and independently.
- Highly organized and proactive — you anticipate needs, keep things tidy, and follow through without being chased.
- Comfortable with social media and content tools, and confident representing a brand publicly.
- Able and willing to travel — you can travel abroad freely and are ready to move around as the role requires. Where a trip needs it, DeepLeaf supports travel costs, and visa support is available through our partners where possible.
- Bonus: design sense (Canva/Figma), video/editing, or a second language (French, Arabic/Darija, or others).
Eligibility
Aimed at students and recent graduates. You should be currently enrolled in a university programme (bachelor's or graduate), in your final undergraduate year, or a recent graduate (within about a year).
Languages
- English — required, at a high level.
- French, Arabic/Darija, or other languages are a strong plus.
Location & logistics
- Full-time internship, 6–9 months, in person at the DeepLeaf office in Sidi Bennour, Morocco.
- You're expected to relocate to Sidi Bennour for the internship, and to be ready to travel and move around when needed; living costs in Sidi Bennour are low.
- Paid internship — a monthly stipend, all-inclusive, intended to cover your stay (accommodation) and local travel. Work travel costs are supported by DeepLeaf, with visa support through partners where possible.
Good to know
- Confidentiality and responsible data: you'll handle company, partner, and farmer information with care, consent, and confidentiality.
- Equal opportunity: we welcome applicants of all backgrounds and strongly encourage women and applicants from under-represented groups to apply.
What you'll gain
A front-row seat at a fast-moving agritech company, real responsibility and range across communications and operations, mentorship, and a strong reference and network for your next step.
